So after a 7 year break I decided to get back into it. Still couldn't tell you exactly why I took such a long break. I'm starting out with a Victorian style window this time. I like this style of window. I also want to try my hand at doing some jewelry boxes. So I will be posting updates as I make progress. This progress could be rather slow however, cause it's so cold in the garage this time of year. Should have started this last Spring.
The pattern...just starting the cut out process.
The pattern all cut out.
Started cutting out the glass and figuring out what colors to use.

My second window project
Well after the first window worked out I wanted to do a second. This time I chose to do a rose because my wife loves roses.

My frist stained glass project
I enrolled in a class about 7 years ago to learn how to do the craft of stained glass. The class was going a bit slow so I dropped out to finish it up at home. I first became interested in stained glass back in my early 20's but at the time there was not an easy way to lean it except from a book. Supplies where hard to find ....you know, no such thing as the internet and youtube, etc. I got as far as buying a work bench and a lead vise, but didn't really know how to get started.......So I gave it another try in 2003 and this was my first go of it.
